Last year Karin Montag, the publisher of the German popular scientific magazine “Der Tintling”, published a interview with Prof. Dr. Meike Piebenbring in issue 72 (5/2011). The cover showed a photo of a polyporus: http://tintling.com/inhalt/2011/Inhalt_2011_5.html) which was named as P. ciliatus. But in the following issue a reader wrote that the species is P. tricholoma not P. ciliatus. At time I haven’t access to my literature so I couldn’t give you more details. If you want I could scan the reader’s letter next week and send it to you with a short summary.
