Notes: Caps on these were up to 4.9 cm across.
The spore deposit was white and they were amyloid.
Spores were ~ 8.0-9.0 X 6.0-7.5 microns. Q(ave.) = 1.24.
Spores were quite warted and on some, the apiculus was also amyloid(see photo).
They don’t quite fit the description for Melanoleuca cognata and unfortunately, outside of the spore print, I didn’t save these and didn’t do any more microscopy on them.
