My tripod is a UCO Ultrapod Small Tripod, may be not usefull for this work

a tripod that can’t be used around big trees or rocks… did you buy a tripod or a three-legged agoraphobe? a tripod with nature deficit disorder is not a tripod you want to be using for mushroom photography.

look at this picture. i can see big rocks, trees and a tripod.

and this one’s even in water, plus big rocks.

I suggest either getting your tripod some therapy, or finding one that shares more of your goals in life.

a while ago we had a talk about tripods. by ‘talk’ I mean I berated you for weeks about stabilizing your photography in order to do your very interesting subjects justice. i see you’re back to using wildly high isos, which means these and many other photos are being shot handheld. we can’t ID what we can’t see, Eduardo, especially if the specimen is small. i hope you do not ignore this comment. sadly, it would appear that you enjoy ignoring most of my comments.
