Notes: on siliceous rock; thick grayish brownish rimose-areolate crust, K+y to bright red, lecideine apothecia, rims black thin to thick even prominant, disks dark brown and obscured by coarse white pruina, epihymenium brownish, exciple and hypothecium dark brown, paraphyses irregularly beaded and anastomosing and staying in a mass IKI+ ~golden, asci IKI+ dark blue with dark blue central canal viewed end-on; SPORES muriform, variable, hyaline, 30-40×12-15mum when large
