is not supposed to be membranous. Should be an ephemeral fibrous cortina from the description I have.

have a more or less prominent cortina – in the section Cortinatae where lacera belongs, but even heavier in the section(genus) Mallocybe. I wouldn’t call it membranous though. Spores and cystidia always need to be checked.

Do these have a membranous partial veil when young?.
I found something very much like this today.
