Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Substrate: On branches of currant shrub, 2-3 ft. above ground. Slightly protected from wind (located in interior of shrub). Not protected from sun.

Habitat: Sagebrush steppe, with scattered ponderosa pines.

Description: Species abundant within plot.

Other: i know that Letharia taxonomy just got shaken up in the last couple years, haven’t gotten a hold of the new dissertation that breaks up L. vulpina and L. columbiana into 6 new species…
