Observation 95731: Morchella brunnea M.Kuo
When: 2012-05-27
Who: BlueCanoe
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in unburned mid-elevation mixed-conifer forest. Compared to other M. snyderi specimens we collected, these specimens are relatively narrow with a long stipe relative to the cap height. Their stipes are also not as complex. Phenotypic variants of M. snyderi, or a different species altogether? White balance calibrated using gray card.
