innitially when collected, they had a very faint scent, but by the time I got home they smelled a little fishy. The smell disappeared upon cooking, I’d rate them well. I fried with olive oil salt and pepper, sweeter than a button, not as sweet as a honey mushroom. Definately worth a sample :)

Have you tried Laccaria ochropurpurea?

I know some people collect it for the table, but have not heard if its a decent edible or not.
