Notes: Substrate: Basaltic rock (rare according to McCune), north facing side. Abundant. Also found Platismatia glauca nearby on the north side of similar short columnar-esque rock.

Habitat: P. ponderosa, meadow, wetland ecotone.

Description: marginal soralia, much of the soredia fallen out.
