Observation 95866: Lactarius peckii Burl.

These had caps up to 6.2 cm across.
The gills had some pinkish brown tints near the stem.
The whitish latex did not turn color.
The spore print was creamy and the spores were ~ 6.5-8.0 X 6.0-7.0 microns,
fairly heavy warts and reticulations.
No strong odor and the flesh was somewhat acrid.
Haven’t been able to match anything as yet in the Bessette book.
