I was looking for Cortinarius, so I could be biased. Its form looks right (brown spored, emarginate gills) except for the cracks in the cap. I thought maybe those were formed from the climate conditions. Now you’ve got me wondering whether its an Agrocybe. I’ve never seen it before.

Did it still have the cobwebby veil intact, or had you seen it before?
