Trees are challenging to identify for the time being, but I’m gonna guess it was a Western Hemlock.

Images soon to be added. The spores did not produce a black to blue-black color change when submerged in iodine.

Looking at the shape of the stipal bulb, this could belong to section Validae. Were the spores amyloid? What tree were these growing under?
