Notes: those a picture that a frient took for me , they where groing in soil under piments , and where not there the previous day, tough outside, mushy insde.

I don’t think those are eggs but i am absolutely clueless (wich annoy me) about them….

like to be on woodchips or something similar. Would be fitting too if on bigger ones. Or maybe a similar Lycogala. But with this outer coating I can’t think of any other.
If it is a fungus I cannot think of anything else.

why on ground??
