Extremely young indian pipe beginning to pop up in clumps beneath Doug fir. At this young stage they are a beautiful silver/almost blueish color.
We usually find plenty of Russula brevipes, R. xeromphalina and Hypomyces lactifluorum in this area of the park from late August to November.
