Observation 96452: Tubulifera arachnoidea Jacquin

Small, pink, spongy clusters(largest specimens penny sized) that look like miniature versions of Clathrus ruber. No “eggs” attached tho… Initially I thought it was Lycogala terrestre from a glance. Inside of specimens were white and spongy- easily crumbled apart when handled. Found on old pieces wood and moss in Doug fir/Maple canopy.

Temp: 60’s- heavy precipitation over the last week here.
