Observation 9675: Leccinum scabrum (Bull.) Gray
When: 2001-10-21
Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Collection displayed at the 2001 Oregon Mycological Society Fall Mushroom Show, held at the World Forestry Center, Portland, OR. Where an OMS Herbarium tag exists, a voucher collection should be preserved. I have collected this fungus several times near High Rocks, Clackamas Co., OR near Lodgepole pine and Douglas fir, scattered Whitebark pine, and sometimes even scattered Noble fir. Leccinum has glandular dots, usually black, on the stem.
