Notes: thick, bumpy, ‘spiky’ cap, solid white all around, 5-6 inches tall, leaf litter, dense forest, near big moose lake

i can say that i remember the bulb being very prominent, it stood out to me right away, seemed larger than most

You could well be right that this is abrupta.
