- Apothecia persistently perithecium-like, with punctiform discs (ostioles), one or several in each fertile wart;
- Fertile warts strongly widened at base, not sharply delimited from the thallus, usually flat; soralia absent; thallus K- to K+ pale yellow; on bark;
- Ascospores 2/ascus;
- Ostioles pale to pinkish;
- Fertile warts rounded to irregular; usually single or with few together;
- Ascopores dimensions:
