Notes: Again found fruiting from nut (Black Walnut?). Fruiting in fairly large numbers, approximately 10 fruibodies encountered on a 0.25 mile section of trail, when carfully dug up, it is revealed that the mushroom is emerging from a burried nut.

These are fairly large, cap diameters ranging from 3 to 6 cm, the larger ones splitting in age. Stipe length 8 to 16 cm, stipe width 0.3 to 1.0 cm.
