Notes:
Extremely early for any varnished Ganoderma(Reishi) to start fruiting here in Western WA. Usually early August.

Fruiting from pulpy, rotted Western hemlock log.

Temp: Low 60’s, heavy rain.

Will be updating these images (when specimens mature) for pore size information.

Images taken today show final stage of growth- completely flattened sporocarp with spore dust collection on cap. Distinctly old growth hemlock canopy- thanks Margaret McKenny!
