The yellow color might be due to fading, as Calostoma cinnabarina is usually red. however, it might also be one of the yellow Calostomas. Arora mentions C. lutescens, C. ravenelii, and C. microsporum_, all of which resemble Calostoma cinnabarina but are yellow instead of red.
