Used references: Arora, Mushrooms Demystified. Most Poria have shallow tubes. This obs. appears to have very elongated, open spore-bearing surfaces, usually arranged in vertical, mostly open tubular structures. Imagine a pipe cut in 2 lengthwise.

Mushrooms Demystified doesn’t really have the range to be a worthwhile reference for Panamanian fungi.
