Color is such a difficult thing to accurately capture in a photograph. Natural light, flash intensity, camera settings, and the colors of adjacent objects can radically change the color appearance of a mushroom.

This mushroom had no annulus, striate margin, a volva, and a more or less brown cap. “Tawny Grisette” is the closest I could get to a match, but I agree this mushroom has atypical coloration compared to the other tawny grisettes in the area.
