the young mushrooms cap = 1cm total height = 2.5 cm

don’t provide much indication of size. Do you remember the size? Especially looking for cap diameter and total height, including pseudostipe.

I just realized I really should be looking at Collybia as well. This example seems large for Collybia, but it might be as well. Stipe looks too large and bulbous to be Marasmius, and fungus overall too large to be Marasmius or Marasmiellus.

Might look among; Caulorhiza, Oudemansiella, and Rhodocollybia. The enlarged, nearly bulbous base has me “stumped”.
