Observation 9831: Macrocybe titans (H.E. Bigelow & Kimbr.) Pegler, Lodge & Nakasone

No herbarium specimen

Notes: I found these beautiful giants growing in a recently disturbed landscaped area, at the edge of a walking path… growing in white pine needles and grass. Caps are large and tan colored, cream colored to tan gills… stalk, about 12" long. Has grayish scales on it. Young mushrooms growing out of base of older mushrooms.
