There are some records of B. variipes in Europe.

Wolfgang Klofac has found it in Austria. At least it is believed to be this species but it could be a separate as well. I am not on the newest status quo of information about that.

Doesn’t list B. variipes either. B. reticulatus appears to be a reasonable match according to the description on this website.
