Notes: While visiting family up north in Glendale, it looks like I just couldn’t get away from the local Tucson Podaxis pistillaris that are out and about thanks to intense monsoon rains. These developed on the side of a road in a neighborhood. They are either very young, but due to the advanced state of decomposition of the older specimen, it looks like their growth might be stunted but they are indeed mature.
