Observation 98679: Amanita spreta (Peck) Sacc.

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: These were found in the southern area of the Big Sandy Creek Unit,
Caps were up to 8.8 cm across, glabrous, and slightly tacky.
Striations up to 1.2 cm.
The annulus was relatively thin and seemed to turn somewhat grayish.
Spores were white, inamyloid and ~ 8.9-11.0(13.9) X 6.1-8.0(9.8) microns.
Q(ave.) = 1.39.
