Notes: These were in a watered planted area at a church. The stipes were scaly, and had a dark line indicating an annulus. They were under sweetgum trees.

it is the shaggy cap and stipe that separates these from most Psaths?

According to Index Fungorum this species has gone through seven genera changes, including being a Psathyrella at one time.
