Notes: Cap: Blue-violet, convex, covered in slime which left yellow splotches. Spots turn whitish when dried out.

Gills: Purple to cinnamon colored. Attached, close.

Stipe: Purpleish, cinnamon colored ring zone. Tapered, narrower at top.

Base: Slightly swollen, no volval remnants.

Spore print: Cinnamon brown.

Odor: Not distinctive.

Bruising: None

Habitat: Terrestrial. Growing in a hardwood forest.
