Notes: Found near Road 23, under conifers (grand fir, Doug fir, hemlock), a group of three.
Odor indistinct, “earthy”; taste farinaceous. Flesh in the stem darkens significantly, but doesn’t become black. Didn’t see blackening on the gills.
Spores 7-8 × 5 microns.
