HABITAT well-lit mature hardwood forest on broad high ridge; SUBSTRATE Acer bark; ASPECT partly sunny; NOTES underside corticate and white to pale tan, rhizines white to pal grayish with white long-pointed tips, rhizines abundantly side-branched with slender white pointy branches, cilia abundant from short and finely tapered the entire length to more rhizine-like and pointing down, cilia white to rarely grayish with white tips; MEDULLA K+y
