Notes: HABITAT southern slopes near top of ridge; SUBSTRATE on Lecanora on hardwood bark; ASPECT partly sunny; NOTES scurfy whitish crust, K+y intense, C-, KC-, essentially biatorine apothecia, rim prominant pale smooth and even when very young but almost immediately being excluded, scattered sparse algae below apothecia, hypothecium hyaline, hymenium hyaline, epihymenium opaque clearing in K, hypothecium K+ norstictic crystals, paraphyses narrow and kinky and branched toward slightly expanded tips, asci with thick IKI+ tip and walls; SPORES 8 per ascus, citriform, simple, smooth, 8-10 × 6-7 µm
