Contribution Summary for Tim Sage (T. Sage)
Joined Mushroom Observer: 2009-09-20 10:23:37 +0000
Primary Location: Briarcrest Neighborhood, Shoreline, Washington, USA I am an absolute mycophile: hunting, photographing, studying, logging, databasing, identifying, vouchering, oggling, fondling, and obsessing about fungi in North Seattle and all of Western Washington. I have been absolutely insane about this astounding fifth kingdom since the season of 2008. Since then I have read and collected anything I can get my hands on. I am an active volunteer, identifier, part of the vouchering committee, and member of the board of trustees for the wonderful Puget Sound Mycological Society (http://www.psms.org/), and will be for the rest of my life. Fungally, my main interests are: Photography, species lists, identification/classification/taxonomy, microscopy, mycophagy, vouchering, mycorestoration/mycoremediation, and ecology. My non-fungal interests include: My fiance Liz, animals and animal rights, nature, science, oneirology, surface hydrology, singing/music, humor, food, toys, video games, photography, and general crazy stuff. I am currently shooting with a Canon Powershot SX150. Many of my photos were taken with the Nikon Coolpix L110 & L20, and some with an older Canon A345. I am on Facebook, and have a 900+ member fungi photography group with 1000’s of photos from around the world. Feel free to join and/or send me a friend request!
