Summary: An all species analysis of the puffballs and earthstars from California using macromorphology and mircomorphology for all possible material over the next two years (till 2011). This study is focused on new collections and herbarium material from UCB, SFSU and HSU. As well, DNA sequence analysis will be used to illuminate ambiguous groups from California. Hi All,
This project is on hold until further notice, or I win the lottery and can afford to dedicate all of my time to it. Don’t worry about sending me material unless you think it is VERY RARE, from California and has the possibility of being a new species.
