Specimen available

Specimen is distinctly different from the species we call G.applanatum in Eastern North America. It lacks hard resinous deposits in the context, as well as having prominent bands of white flesh which I have not seen in Eastern North American specimens, but does however occur in some specimens from the West Coast.

It is highly probable that this is a specimen of Ganoderma applanatum sensu stricto.
