This bolete was about 30mm in height with the cap at the widest point being about 20mm. It had the open pores construction under the cap. Unfortunately the three other images were not good enough to load. Again this was growing in the wet sandy loam but was not in complete shade. It was in almost direct sunlight when I photographed it.

The cap is also dry as imaged, but conic as in A. novaezelandiae. Somebody needs to work on this genus in Australia…..

The conical cap is interesting if it convex I would have called it Austroboletus lacunosus.
