Observation 210513: Coltricia Gray

Notes:
Under Pinus patula.

Thousands of basidiomas on a vertical wall that was dug to make a trail.

Staining black in KOH.

All micrographs mounted in Melzers.

The spores measure 4 – 5 × 7 – 8 µm and are smooth, thick walled and nearly hyaline in Melzers.

The hyphae on the pileipellis are non-branching.

Basidia four spored.
