Notes:
Growing in a grassy clearing on a ridge-top near Quercus sect. Lobatae, Carya sp., Fagus grandifolia, Prunus serotina and Acer nigrum. Two fruiting bodies joined at the base. Young pores suffed and not bruising. Stem surface bruising pinkish.
