Interesting that the mycologists at NAMA Northwoods 2017

Id’d this collection as L. pseudomucidus and another collection from the foray as L. mucidus. I’m not sure how they differentiated them but from what I’ve read L. mucidus is thought to be an eastern NA taxon and L. pseudomucidus is thought to be a western NA taxon. Both were vouchered at the Field Museum of Natural History and put on the species list: http://mycoportal.org/...
