Growing with mixed conifers, ~ 6700 feet.
Caps up to 11.5 cm across, coated with mud which was difficult to field clean.
Stipe with blue tints.
Spores ~ 9.0-10.5 X 5.0-6.0 microns, elliptical/elongate(Qavg = 1.77) and low to moderately verrucose.
KOH on various surfaces was brownish.
