Trametes spp. are typically thin fleshed,

T. gibbosa occurs on hardwoods and has slot like pores and a lumpy cap surface. This obs is very young and fresh so it could be any number of things. However, I don’t think T. gibbosa is one of them.

Why could it not be Trametes gibbosa?
