Notes:
Growing on the underside of a mossy very well rotted hardwood (?) log near Quercus spp., Acer sp., Fagus grandifolia, Liriodendron tulipifera, Tsuga canadensis and likely some smaller hardwoods. All structures inamyloid. Monomitic with hyphae appearing predominantly clamped. Some hymenial hyphae short-celled.Large, tubular, thick-walled cystidia present. Cystidia of tramal origin. Some cystidia encrusted with crystals along the sides. Cystidia up to 168.8 µm long and 7.3 µm wide, projecting up to 61.5 µm. Hyphidia absent. Basidia 4-sterigmate and terminal, 14 – 22.06 (22.1) × (4.6) 4.63 – 5.3 µm (3 measured). Sterigmata measured at between 1.8 and 2.7 µm long. Spores smooth and thin walled. Spore measurements from Piximetre: (5.1) 5.2 – 6.1 (6.5) × (2.8) 3 – 3.7 (3.9) µm, Q = (1.6) 1.61 – 1.78 (1.8); N = 10, Me = 5.7 × 3.4 µm; Qe = 1.7
Individual spores: 6.11 × 3.73 µm, 6.01 × 3.34 µm, 5.67 × 3.62 µm, 5.59 × 3.18 µm, 6.50 × 3.89 µm, 5.22 × 2.97 µm, 5.32 × 3.30 µm, 5.74 × 3.38 µm, 5.63 × 3.43 µm, 5.07 × 2.84 µm
