The mushroom was found growing in the soil.

Its smell was not distinct.

The pileus was smooth, dull, and yellowish-orange with a darker orange center; its width was 3.9 cm.

The stipe was yellow with dimensions 7.8 cm long and 1 cm wide. The stipe surface was silky and shiny.

Lamella were white, and adnexed with even edges; and their size was 1.7 cm. The lamella were also regular and had margins spanning <1 mm at the edge of the cap and <1 mm half-way from the edge of the cap.

The spore print was white.
