Nearly two dozen emerging and mature fruit bodies on the side of a dirt road with limestone gravel in remote area, not often traveled. All were growing out of the dirt between the limestone gravel. Not on wood! The gravel itself was very rounded, indicating to me that it had been on dirt road a very long time and had been eroded by the weather and soil acidity. Cap dusty rose pink with umbo, slightly darker toward the center. Gills white without visible edge coloration, not attached to stem. Stem soft, translucent, pinched, dull, pale, with hint of pink on some. I have enough dried ones to share if you can guarantee me a good sequence and comparison with the Blue and brown more frequently seen here and mentioned in M of the RC by Noah and Christian.
