Fungus identification can be exhausting sometimes. so many factors go into a 100 identification. I will keep learning if you do! Namaste

unlikely to be Aminita

I agree.It would be unlikely for Aminita to grow in a basket of coconut. I find Animita Cokeri relatively often where I live and and proposed the I’d based on looks of the mushroom without realizing that Leucocoprinus has such a close lookalike. Sorry for being too hasty to propose an I’d and thanks for the lesson!

Amanitas are a mycorrhizal, growing in association with hardwoods. very unlikely that an Amanita would be growing from cococoir without having a hardwood tree to associate with.
