Found beneath Western red cedar- decomposing cedar twigs and debris.

Temp: mid 70’s, overcast-low precipitation.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in my work/photos/obsies. I think it looks very promising(as at least Diderma) based on the links you added with the proposal. I also remember Tim Sage had been observing them in the Seattle area during this same period. Just wish I would have collected a few samples for herbarium with these ;(. I know the canopies for both of these observations very well and will hope in 2019 to collect some and contribute new posts(WITH herbarium vouchers). The images attached to the Danskevan link look nearly identical(at least for mature masses)-you are truly a continued asset and are always keeping your interests piqued and eyes wide open w/research not only with your own collections but for other fungally obsessed folks like myself. Hope you had a fantastic season and are staying warm-been in the teens here and all local fruiting bodies are in a frosty stasis around Olympia!
