Found at the edge of a pond. Did not see any around there the next year. Gps coordinates are accurate. Boletus michoacanus grows in the ravine 100 meters uphill.

Based on microscopic features: Spores subrhomboid but much fatter and less subrhomboid than other species in Cordisporae
