When: 2012-05-20
Collection location: Fulton Co., Georgia, USA [Click for map]
Who: AmatoxinApocalypse (AmatoxinApocalypse)
No specimen available
Notes:
Found in an area that was seeded at the beginning of the year, I was surprised to see such robust specimens in such a new area, I usually observe these in horse dung or well fertilized/well established lawns.
The average length of the stipe was 5 inches long, some were 7 inches long. Most were very large.
