Notes: South East from Forks, WA the Hoh River Trail is one of many trails originating from the visitor center. Most “tourist trails” are quick snapshots of the overall rainforest-e.g.- the “hall of mosses,” “Spruce trail” etc. But the Hoh river trail is a 17.5 mile stretch of serene river views, large club moss and many old growth Spruce trees. A perfect home for lichen, fungi and myxogastria. 15 dollar entrance fee at pay station.
